I've been printing in PETG almost exclusively on my Monoprice Voxel (a.k.a Flashforge Adventerer III) because I print RC car parts and other items that require additional strength.
Unfortunately, PETG tends to be "difficult" to print with compared to PLA, so it's often a trade off of strength vs. convenience.
But I bought this Sunlu filament with the hopes that it would offer me something more than what I was getting with previous brands - and once I nailed down the settings, it's been a joy to print with!
My current settings are 230c with 80c on the bed at a base speed of 33mm/s. Fans are on only after the raft is printed (and I tend to always print with a raft). Retraction is 1mm at 30mm/s to 2mm at 50mm/s - I'm still dialing in the retraction setting to help with stringing on very complex prints, but for most prints I do, stringing isn't an issue.
Fast delivery, qualitative prints all at quite a high level. Am highly satisfied with!
Delivery in 2 weeks. Filament is not cheap, but quality. The color changes very slowly, other colors are visible on the coil, but I still do not understand the green.
Test the day after the reception on Creality CR-10v3. First printing made with tray at 75-80 ° and extrusion set at 220-225 °. Satisfactory result! The yellow is very flashy no problem lol
QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
I have a heated bed that maxes out at 60°. Can this be printed on a 60° bed?
The lowest bed heat I had used is 70 oC. At 60 oC, I would apply glue (ie glue stick) to the bed surface for good measure.
Is the black+white 2 pack listed under \'polylatic acid\' regular pla or pla plus?
In there carbon fibers in this filament or it is only the colour name?
Yes, there is.
